It's as good at photographs as my camera is at voice mail

Yes, I am now just as cool as you. Behold:

Yeah, that's your classic "Somewhere-Between-Salem-and-Albany-on-I-5 Sunset" right there. They're among the few redeeming features of the drive.

I can't think of another one, either.

I've been itching to get one of those no-longer- new-fangled camera phones for a while now. What's stopped me is that everyone I talk to tells me I can get one for free provided I negotiate with a vendor, threaten to shut off service, call the support line and ask to speak with a sup, know the password, etc. I could always pay for one but why spend the money if I don't have to?

So, yeah, what did you do?

What I did was to break my old phone, go downa the mall, tell 'em I needed a new phone, and get charged $130 for it. I'll get $50 of that back in rebate. But I really should have been more of an asshole. Damn, why didn't I think of that? Damn damn damn.

There's that cool 80's station out of Salem. You know, for when you're driving in the middle of the night, when there aren't any sunsets to behold, and you're in need of a redeeming feature between Salem and Albany.
